Lovely midcentury pair of white glass table lamps model RD1566 designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors Glass, Sweden 1960s. Inner white crystal glass core surrounded by a clear glass cover. Metal details on top.
The lamps are heavy with elegante shape and conical design. Signed Orrefors and RD1566.Measures: 36.5 cmH (incl bulb socket) x 12 cm L x 7.5 cm W.
Very good vintage condition.Lampshades are not included.Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a talented Swedish lighting designer working at Orrefors glassworks between 1946-1980. He achieved great success with lighting systems for General Motors and the Kennedy Center in the United States.
