This pair of visually striking brass table lamps depict the protected sea turtle of the French overseas colony Martinique. Stamped “Macouba” on the bottom, the lamp itself is an elegant rectangle of black lacquered veneer, from which protrudes a large brass sculpted turtle. They would look amazing in many spaces as they’re so timeless. The lamps come with the conical cream and black paper shades as seen in most of the photos. However, these are in a well-worn condition. The second image shows the lamps paired with different shades as a reference. The lamps are EU wired at the moment, but they will be rewired if needed prior to delivery, depending on the buyer’s location.
