That is too funny. I wish I would have seen this thread before, although I would have bought it anyway. He came up with lots of creative stories for this one I see. He told me it was a part of a photo shoot and the base went missing after cleanup. Anyway, Fritz Hansen will sell the base for $1250. Between buying the seat part for $600 and the base for $1250, I'll be less than $2000 all in, which could be worse I guess! Thanks for your help guys.
