The tabletop has a perfected matched conglomeration of different Norwegian nature stones in amazing colors. Tablelegs of stained wood and brass edge boarder around in which gives the most beautiful vintage final touch. Manufactured by AS Conglo Design in the late 1960s. The Conglo tables were promoted by Bruksbo AS. the Conglo tecnique started in the late 1950s in relation to the Arcitectural decoration work in Hydroparken and Regjeringskvartalet in Oslo Norway, and the Conglo tables ought to be seen as an extension of this beautiful work. Good vintage condition. Measures: 93.5 cm D x 54 cm H. Erling Viksjø (1910-1971) was a midcentury Norwegian architect known for a number of monumental buildings, especially in Oslo. He contributed to characterizing Norwegian architecture in the post-war period until his death. Viksjø is considered one of the foremost architects in Scandinavian modernism.
