That was fun (strinning)

Let's try these.

Found separately, unmarked, extruded stems, tin glaze.

They strike me as anonymous studio pieces. Nice, but not by a well known pottery or potter.

I agree, but, my friend...
...who is a very jaded mid century dealer thought they might be something much more exotic. He's been doing his job for about 50 years, so I trust his opinion.
He hasn't gotten back to me about what he was able to find, so I am just putting them out there.
I didn't want to influence lookers by mentioning a name.
They could easily turn out to be nothing, but can't hurt to ask.

I bet he's not half as jaded as I am 😉 Did he think they might be Arne Bang?

Nope... Italiano
I'm not gonna say a name, bc I would like to hear what others think of them.
I haven't seen enough examples of this designers ceramics to compare.

I really don't know anything!
ALL dealers are scoffers - they're never impressed by another's treasure. That's why his reaction surprised me. Especially when he offered to do some research on them...
Personally, I think the same as jesgord, but I can also see an Italian/Fellini-ish influence. Or Scandinavian or ??
I'll tell soon.
I'm just hoping for a few unbiased opinions.

Dang, that didn't pan out like I hoped...
Alright, friend/dealer thinks Gio Ponti.
Maybe he is cracked, like I've always said...
I do know GP made ceramics, but haven't been able to view a lot of it. Since these are unmarked, the only way I'm likely to find out is thru my friend's library.
So, they will probably remain: anonymous

Monty 'let's make a deal'...
Monty 'let's make a deal' Ponti Hall? Ponti did produce ceramics, but maybe not these, although they seem very nice, probably better than ...
door number 2.
