An original rattan set of furniture produced in the 1960’s, consisting of a three legged table with glass table top and a rattan lounge chair. The beauty of rattan is in the sculptural quality of the form, exemplified in the table that is supported by three scalloped shaped legs of rattan. The design of the lounge chair is a reminiscent of the “egg shape” – so popular at the time and used by designers such as Eero Aarnio or Christian Adam. The set is in original vintage condition. There is a beautiful patina on both the chair and on the table, that works well with the natural quality of the material.
