Hello I picked these up the other day from a family who said that they brought them over from denmark in the 1950's - 1960. Can any one help me Id these chairs? There are no labels. They are wonderfully crafted with both plywood and solid woods. There are dowels and screws used in there construction. Thanks

Yes -- it's
that boomarang shape. I wonder where dowels are used in these chairs. Might those actually plugs over screws ?
The minimal size of the rear legs, and the quite small size of the joint where they meet the frame, makes me nervous. They should be used carefully, I think.
I wish that stretcher had been placed between the legs, where it would do double duty as a frame spacer and a leg reinforcement.
They're nice looking, though. Comfortable ? I suppose the cord can be restretched at the tops where needed. . .
