I have one at home and it performs very well. It is also quite smart for its price, almost like owning a robotic pet.
I loved my Roomba...
...but the battery packs only last about 2 years, and are pretty expensive to replace. I also found that I was so transfixed by it, that I wasn't actually saving any time. Instead of spending 20 minutes vacuuming, I was spending 20 minutes watching the Roomba. So, I've gone back to my trusty Hoover Constellation. With its hovercraft mobility, it's nearly as entertaining, without the expense.
I agree--
The invention of the Roomba has resulted in only a net LOSS of productivity.

I tend to think
that when you get too lazy to handle a vacuum cleaner, it's time to hired cleaners to come to your home and do the work.
My brother used a cleaning couple every few months, but then again, he's lazy. I do it it myself...and use my wonderful Sharp bagless vacuum cleaner.
"Made In Korea"
Which one? North- or South-Korea?
Or is Yujin Robot Co., Ltd part of the Korea Is One movement?
