Hi, I'm in the process of opening a restaurant which will serve foods with low fat, mostly salad types with grilled chicken and meat, will also have snacks with low fats as well but I couldn't come up with a retro name
any suggestions on that?

thanks! 🙂

Not suitable for a restaurant, but I've always wanted a vintage clothing shop just so I could call it 'Don Drapery'.

They forgot one step. "Ask...
They forgot one step. "Ask strangers to provide you with a name and and/ or visual identity for free".

Never lock yourself into a
really specific name when starting a new business, since your focus may change down the road to something that no longer fits the name.
Choose something interesting and memorable that doesn't describe the menu or decor.

May I suggest
Eliminating the vowels from whatever name you choose.

I'm sorry
but all I can picture when I think of retro salad is lime green jello with cottage cheese and pineapple.
Or, wait for it, the dreaded Ambrosia Salad.

Riki,
there was actually a popular salad consisting of a ring-shaped lime jello mold with tuna salad in the center.
That said, I vote for "Aunt Mark's". It's a classic. You could always go into flashy men's pants if the retro salad bar loses its allure.

Spanky, that is a great...
Spanky, that is a great idea. The only thing better would be to go all-in and start with the double offering of salad and crazy pants.
Auntie, how do you feel about having a salad eatery and pants boutique named in your honor?

hmmm
"Retro Salad" sounds like the salad could be just old. So along those same lines,
I like: "Aunt Mark's Risky Chicken"
