Don't be surprised if he proposes to trade one of his new prints (Shaquille O'Neal, anyone?) for your more-desirable (thus more valuable) vintage print.

Thanks for the input thus far... I do not have a face book page so I'll be unable to contact him directly - I had hopes that someone currently had this piece in their collection or had dealt with it in the past - I am going to see if I can find resource information at my local library.

I would venture to say it's purposely Untitled. If you look on RoGallery there's a bunch of Untitled works by him. Great little piece though, I love his early work.

Thanks for the RoGallery resource... unfortunately it was not an image in their listings... have yet to make it to the library. I agree the piece is a beauty - I wish I could say it was a $5.00 find at the thrift store, however I did purchase this outright and I am just attempting to finally match a name (or even a final verdict of untitled) to it. Regardless I adore it and really appreciate all the input thus far.

signature spoils it for me -- no matter the fact that it is (no doubt) authentic. . .
Still, it's a delight to see this after so long. The drawing is quite good, isn't it. . .

SDR - the actual graphic size is only 4"x4" so in comparison the natural signature size would seem large against the image. I love his small prints and adore this one - I hope to follow up with an update of the pieces title - visiting Vegas shortly and will prompt the Max gallery there for an answer.
