This thread is meant to show the objects that you are selling to help Koen to rebuild his workshop.

Lot 1
We are starting this thread that we hope will be long and various.
A bowl from the fifties that reminds us of Herbert Krenchel's "Krenit" bowls. But this one is in ceramic and comes from the prestigious manufacture Villeroy & Boch.

We suggest that each one of...
We suggest that each one of you sells his objects from his own ebay account or website. When the sales will be over, the benefits can be credited on a paypal account that we will open for the occasion.
As the sales will be dispatched on several ebay accounts, we suggest to virtually gather all the objects in this thread.
We will soon decide of a date so that all the objects are, more or less, sold at the same time, by everyone who wishes to participate.
When the sales are launched, it will be easy to add a link to each ebay page from the object that are for sale with the edit function. Thus, it is important to make a different post for each item as we have done here above.
The aim of this thread is mainly to give an overview of the objects that are offered in the context of this fundraising auction.
Sorry if this is not very clear. If somebody knows of another way to organise this sale, suggestions are welcome!
Preparing things
I'm very excited with this, recalls me others DA projects...
Internet and the forum is part of the virtual world we live, but this ones has to do much more with the real world that's outside.
On my side I should arrange some details, I have a Mercado libre (south american ebay) that I don't use much and provably should open an ebay account, I'll ask for assistance if needed. But as we say "Los melones se acomodan mientras el camion va andando". "The melons finds his place as the truck runs".
I love things posted!, I had the idea of donating, not biding in mind...
But I love the knifes and I want that lamp... I'll put at least one bid (just in case)!
I'll post this lots to start, I'll edit it later the photo n some additional info if needed.
I have some more objects, but I wanted to start my side.

see bellow for buy it now
Lot 5
Below is my first contribution to the benefit. 70's? perpetual flip calendar. Designer or producer unknown, but similar to Enzo Mari "Timor" (see DA index). Produced using wood, plastic and aluminum (joint screw). Size is roughly 4 3/4 in tall by 2 1/4 in wide (12cm H x 5.7cm W).
Other items pending....detachment issues.
Several things I think we should clarify. Due date for all items to be posted and ready to be synced up on eBay? The donations, will it be percentage of results or full? If percentage, I think more people would contribute.
My thoughts...
Contribution amount should be left up to the seller. I am considering doing auctions both ways -- with all or a portion of proceeds.
As I suggested in the other thread, I think a simple banner and blurb describing the benefit would be nice to add to the auctions to provide some uniformity and cohesion. Anyone want to volunteer? 🙂
This is moving right along
and I have some issues that I will try to overcome. My stuff from America is in a container in the Netherlands and I will not have access to it until July 1st when we move into our apartment. (Right now I'm in a furnished, temporary apartment, chock full of Ikea, right down to the silverware and towels!)
My stuff that I left in the US is all big, like sideboards and chairs and stuff that wouldn't fit in the Swiss apartment. Besides, I won't be back to the US until May 8th. People don't usually like to pay the shipping on giant stuff.
I will search the Brocante fairs here for something to buy that I can sell, but my hands are pretty much tied until May 8th or July 1st.
I will get creative and think of something. (I wonder if my landlord would notice of some of his Ikea stuff went missing?!)
Lot 6
Two rarely seen pair of Raymor vases in lime green, mustard yellow color with creamy white interior (perfect spring colors). Exterior color shifts depending on lighting. Both stickered on bottom, production numbers concealed by stickers.
Year, designer unknown.
Tall vase is 12 1/2 inches high (31.8cm)
shorter vase is 11 inches high (27.3cm)
I agree with you approach Woody, that is, flexibilty in contribution. Beloved, surely you'll win the calendar. Hope more items begin to bubble up (pun unintended re:gustavos lovely lamp).
