Anyone seen a cyclone table with a base like this? It appears old, but the way this table attaches to the base is unlike any I've seen.

is it the side table?
the dining table uses more of a widened pin to hold the wire base in but I think the side table uses something like this.

I noticed the same thing, tho the side table doesn't have the hole in the middle of the base.

Interesting to see
that the spokes are welded together at one tier of the helical grid. Is this the original construction ? I can see how it would stiffen against torsion -- but is it vital ?
Are a bicycle's spokes fastened to each other ? Well, no . . .
