Correct me if I'm wrong
Frame Eames-Evans Prototype Style lcm. The back rod is straight. The glide rubber text says INSULATED DOMES OF SILENCE. Peek between the rubber and rod (butterknife) look for fins. The old domes loosened a bit wobbling the chair.Around '50 Miller took production and tried different things to streamline.
My pair is birch rubber stamped 10 51 and rusty chrome! Original feet are all working fine. One day the spinning feet made me think. (don't do this!) I pryed off the metal cap, remaining was a rubber disk with a round head tack pushed through it into the rod, as far as I can tell the tacks ribs squeeze into the rod hole permanently. This was costing more than a slip on boot but mine work good after 60 years. Took an hour to sqeeze the cap back on trying many methods arrgh.
Maybe yours was kicking around at HM because it was the obsolite type so they tagged it to clear the warehouse one day. That stuff happens sometimes at warehouses especially to make room or fill rush orders. Plus the wood can be from a different era via same dimensions.
