The Last Thing That You Acquired #49  

These are December 27th previously enjoyed goodies now in my possession.

2. Troika Germany Grand Prix 1928 friction motor magnetic paperweight
3. Jorge Zalszupin, Eva ice bucket for Hevea Company Brazil 1978

I just came across two books that I got many years ago but had put in storage for the duration of several moves during that time and had long since forgotten where they were. So really, it was like acquiring them all over again!
They are "Chairs" and "Living Spaces" from the Interiors Library, edited by George Nelson. I was a real neophyte to collecting when I first got them and though I knew who George Nelson was, I didn't know many pieces and designers he wrote about. I know a lot more now but what strikes me about the Chairs book is how many oddball things there are in it. I hope I can use it to help out here with IDs.

A Glenn of California hinged divider/bookcase at a local thrift. Still in great shape.
