Just got this Bruksbo of Norway armchair, as identified by vintageobsessive on another thread! The seller was saying it was designed by Ire Møbler for Bruksbo but I'm 99.9% sure it's not, I think it is just a Bruksbo armchair, as Ire Møbler is a company. They thought it was a female designer, whoever it was. It's really comfortable, the back is adjustable, it can be higher or lower with a belt system.
well, here are pics of the desk. It's big, at about 6 1/2' long. Love how the legs are offset from the frame. Was beat to death when I bought it now it's just a bit dinged, but presentable.
No labels that I can find. I think it's very F. Knoll-ish,but maybe that's just me. Has a weird, racetrack like, rubber strip along the front and rear edge.
It's a serious desk, for serious people
EDIT - I'll add a better length shot in a sec.
and just for fun, a weird pair of Italian drip glaze arching cats. Love em
Onewildandcrazyguy,
A few years ago my wife and I took my parents to a modernism show at a local museum. My father said that a great many items appeared to be the same as in my home. I told my dad they were different in that you could use my collection.
Use your rug. You will feel better and it will enhance your living space (should you be operating a museum...do not touch).
A trip to Goodwill yielded the following design items:
1. Maria Kivyärvi stainless steel Cake Server for Magisso Ltd
2. Jens Quistgaard teak rectlinear servers for Dansk International Designs Ltd IHQ (I have a large Dansk bowl)
3. Massimo Vignelli glass canister with white plastic lid for Heller
The Marc Jacobs for Assouline is tonight's read from the same Goodwill.
