Another weekend find!
Paul McCobb Planner Group bench & bookcase/hutch. There is a groove in the back of the top and bottom shelf that I would imagine was meant for a plate display. This 2 piece set was sold by the original owners daughter who was at least 80 years old. Both the bench & bookcase/hutch retain their original Paul McCobb Planner Group label. Ca. 1950s
Bench: 60" Wide - 18" Deep - 10" Tall - 34" Tall w/Cabinet
$250

On the way back from my local french bakery I stopped at Goodwill and found the Lella Vignelli and Massimo Vignelli Glasbake two quart casserole with au gratin cover by Jeannette USA for The Chef's Choice for just under one dollar. I like usable design items.

Amazake,
I like your art and I called in my wife to take a look and she likes your art. Good for me.
Yesterday I stopped at Goodwill prior to the grocery store and found a Lalique Soudan ashtray for less than two dollars. Good for me.

Peruche – that is a lovely McCobb set. Must admit that I love McCobb in black.
Just picked up a Steelwood chair by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Magis... for less than the Uber ride down the street to collect it. Contemporary design is surprisingly hard to come by at any reasonable price around here, so this was an exciting find for us.

Mark,
With your guidance as "arbiter of all things correct" and thinking only of "what would Mark say" I edited my post to be "all about me".
My wife laughs at the "niceguy" juxtaposition. Should a small child or dog cross my path I am a nice guy. It is a short list.

Hello niceguy.
Perhaps that is where we differ. I don't care for either dogs, nor small children. Thank you for editing your above post.
Happy 2016,
Aunt Mark

Another weekend find!
Pair of "Janus Collection" end/side tables designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar. If you look at the Dunbar Furn. Corporation label, you will see that the original owner opted not to have the optional Tiffany Tiles inset onto the table tops. Ca.1957.
19" Tall - 24" Wide - 24" Deep

Just picked up a pair of these Metropolitan chairs by Jeffrey Bernett for B & B Italia. They're seriously comfortable, though I may be able to keep only one as they're quite wide! Peruche they're lovely, though I know I would have gone for the tiles....!

Reamie,
Your newly acquired lounge chairs do look quite comfy!!!
I don't know what the price difference for a Tiffany Tile inset Dunbar table was back in 1957, but I do know that the price difference today is in the thousands......
