Hi.

This is from my local charity thrift. I'll wear it once, and then re-donate it.

Hi,

Aunt Mark

Couroc

I've been lusting lustily after Finn Juhl 45 chairs since my friend purchased a pair of Baker models on Ebay a few years ago.
Finally the furniture gods smiled on me and I found one of the newer production models from Onecollection. Yeah yeah.. it's not Arne Vodder - but until I have a spare $20-50 grand laying around I'll have to settle 🙂
My only teensy weensy absurdly minor wish would be that the leather was brown, not black.

Hi.
So this morning I popped into the local "non charity" resale store (I try not to purchase anything not offered by my favorite "charity" resale stores...) and bought another ashtray. I have no plans to pick up another bad habit...I just liked the ashtray. I need____________.
Still Hi,
Aunt Mark
ps today the clerk appeared to be bathed, and only had one tooth missing. I like ashtrays. Hi.

Love the Couroc whale!
Couroc is phenolic resin, no? I like the ones in that same series. The old timey stagecoaches and embedded coins, not so much. There are a lot of roadrunners around, too.

The Whale is great!
I'd never even heard of Couroc. Last month, I had never heard of Gainey Pottery. You fine folks are quite appreciated for introducing me to items that I should have already known about. The knowledge on this forum is most impressive. Anyhow...Many Thanks.
So this morning (from my local fav resale store) I snagged a small spotted vessel that I have absolutely no use for. It is signed "Hahn" I think. It has a bad case of the spots (Spotted Dick?), and will be re-donated after one wearing...
Fondly,
Aunt Mark
ps the weird thing is that I think that I was the person who donated the piece to begin with...I think???? I sorta remember it. I need shock therapy. Very odd.

Cuoroc
I had a brief interest in their trays. Good for serving Ciroc, I suppose.

The cracked remains
of a favorite piece, a mug from a potter on Cape Cod, one Harry Hall. There is another Harry, named Holl, whose Scargo Pottery lives on in Dennis, on the Cape. Not sure what the story is, there . . . after all these years.

Aunt Mark....
Since my last name is Hahn I'd be interested in that piece of pottery. Since I live in arizona it would probably cost more to ship than its worth though.
