I got a Borge Mogensen vanity/desk/dresser for my girlfriend a short while back. Today I put in a new mirror glass, and did a few other minor fixes.

danish leather sofa kicked to curb, maker as yet unknown
So, my neighbor threw it out, it got rained on, two different other neighbors took cushions home, I picked it up and figured I could redo it, but met a dead end not knowing what it was even supposed to look like missing 2/3 of it's cushioning. Searches yielded nothing, so out of desperation, I posted on the neighborhood assn. facebook page and managed to reunite the frame with all its clothes. I'm really jazzed, but sure wish I knew who designed/made it. I always thought the new trend in puffy padded leather furniture was so ugly until I met this sofa. I see now that the idea of draping some quilted leather pads over a sexy, thin, boxy frame has a certain kind of minimalist elegance. Please let me know if you recognize it.

Just got this Giant (over 5 feet tall) framed Evelyn Ackerman tapestry at a local thrift shop for $75. Totally stoked.

That Tulip stool is great -- I haven't seen that colored base before. How rare is that? I love the monochromatic look.

Jesgord, I love that tapestry. It is also the perfect size to fill a difficult area in my house.

I have a weakness
but no need for carts like that. SEEMS like such a good idea
picked up an interested arc lamp. Square tubular arc, wicker shade (in amazing shape) and a C-shaped wood base. Might be an Arco? But don't know. The pole was filthy but looks like it will clean up nicely

Not Arco.
Arco is a specific lamp designed by the Castiglioni brothers for Flos, not the name of a manufacturer or a style or series.
The Arco lamp has a rectangular marble base and a metal shade; more info at the link below.

hum
I THOUGHT there were Arco ones w/ the wood base? Probably just a mis-attribution that stuck in my head.
thanks though. Did a bit of searching w/o finding anything like it
EDIT - I think I was confusing it with Guzinni... I think

A lovely piece, waffle!
I usually just have my better half get on his hands and knees...and use his back to rest the luggage on whilst packing/un-packing. Like your piece, he is pretty and practical, too. Many thanks for thinking of me.
Best,
Aunt Mark

Got this pair yesterday. They're in very good shape, given they're about 25 years old. The only thing is the soft pad is missing a screw on the base, so I'll have to replace that.
