Perhaps
You can see the detail better in the original image, linked below.
Regardless, I will try to take some close-up photos soon.

Here ya go. The first is two houses ago. I gave the owls to my daughter who was going to steal them from me anyway (I kid--she coveted them in a serious way so it was an easy Christmas gift). The old man I got at an auction from a pile of about 25 by the same artist. I think this was her father. I also have the husband and son. I like them a lot.
Got the bottles at an auction, too. None of these was more than $10.
Second one is one of my favorites! Also from an auction for a whopping $7. What a treasure for so little money.
I call the third one "Tommy Lee". His eyeball is just black paint for some reason. Maybe the artist didn't know how to paint eyes or maybe he/she was gonna get around to it later and never did. Whatever, I like him as is.

re Woodys photo "painting"...
Still unclear to me what exactly is going on there...
That tie knot is really comically large. So is the suit and the head a collage of two different images? That was one of the reasons why I thought it was painted, or wanted it to be. A painter might paint something too big or wide or dark or whatever.
Woody, did you make a final call on what process or material it actually was?

Nice
Spanky, I like the last one you posted the best.
EamesHead- The base material is certainly metal. I believe the medium to be pastel, but I'm no expert. I will try to post close-up photos soon!
tktoo- I'm guessing this is from the early 1900s. Not sure of the country of origin. There are no markings. I acquired it from a US seller.

For all those interested
I have started a new thread for art, including a link to close-up photos of the metal piece. Thanks to all for the discussion.

A set of two Stool_ONEs by Konstantin Grcic for Magis at 50% off. I don't have any room for them at the moment so I'm letting the store continue to use them as displays. You could say my furniture addiction has gone beyond the saturation point.
I have a tall, round Burdick Group table hiding in another building around town that I plan to pair them up with.

I just moved to Portland, Oregon USA, and bought a small modest 1950s house, a bit smaller than the one I had near Salem, OR. Will have to part with a few things perhaps, but recently got a Arne Wahl Iversen planter (partially visible in second image), and a Borge Mogensen vanity/desk that is currently buried under boxes in a bedroom.
edit: and the Fog and Morup 60cm pendant in the dining room is new too.

Thanks Solange. It is a cute house with a nice floorplan, and should mean a much shorter work commute for me. It has nicer light than my last house, with a large northern facing living room window.

Your new space looks to be very inviting. Quite well done, indeed.
Best,
Aunt Mark

Eames round table with universal base for Herman Miller
I just found this "fully marked" Eames round table with universal base for Herman Miller "new and unused" at Goodwill for $25.96.
While this piece does very little for me and I have absolutely no use for it, I could not resist the price. It is heading for "long term" storage.

Nice find. You could certainly flip it, but I guess you don't really need the money.
