Jurgen Bey's Ear Chair certainly merits as a post-surrealist chair in my book. It is post surreal in the way post modern is post modern, i.e., with tongue pointlessly in cheek. And while it tickled my funny bone enough to laugh, in fact, there is a way to make a surrealistic chair that is perfectly elegant and efficient, while being surrealistic. Consider the Papa Bear chair by Wegner, or the Ox Chair by him also.

Surrealist chairs
I LOVE this one, found it on someone's blog about 2008 Puces du Design. Would qualify as "Post"-surrealist.... maybe?
Sure, you can't sit in it, but it looks magical and I can stare at it all day long. I'm sure it looks much more impressive in person and from different angles.
