I have no idea if your chair is authentic or a reproduction.

I thought they were ekornes...
I thought they were ekornes Peter, but the only ones I've seen before had wood bases and not stainless steel.

Those first two are Ekornes "Stressless" circa late-1970's.
Google "Ekornes chrome".

you guys are the best! you just saved me a lot of headache and heartache by your input and I'm going back over the older threads to try and educate myself more. I've just started getting into the mid century pieces and I'm finding that I really love them! I'm definitely trying to select just the better pieces and your help is educating me and helping me make good choices!

The photos in your first post no longer appear. Is that because you deleted them now that your question's been answered?
If so, please consider re-posting them, or at least not doing that again. Many of those older threads that you're now learning from are only educational because they still have photos attached. By removing your photos from this thread, you've rendered it useless to anyone who might come across it in the future.
