Looks sort of like Ekstrom's Lamino chair... Perhaps a Bruno Mathsson design (though I would expect more curves from him)? Don't know really.

That was what I also thought from the image in my mind, but when I had it here in my apartment, and checked those I can not find any chair like that under any of those names.

I have a nearly exact copy of an Ekstrom Lamino, and the dealer I bought it from said it was by Dux, although the tag was no longer present, so I have no way of knowing for sure. Since I often see stuff for sale with the Dux tag, I have been curious about them. Did they specialize mostly in doing knock-offs? I do not seem to associate any noteworthy designers with having worked directly for the company?

The most known, and their only really classic is Bruno Mathsson, which designed the pernilla chair.
Another is Erik Jørgensen, which is a individual brand today. Ørestad series, sofas, tables, lounge chairs.
