This is an iconic coffee table designed by architects Antonin Kropacek and Karel Kozelka. It was first produced by Ceske Umelecke Dilny, in Czechoslovakia.
This table, together with two armchairs was recieved a silver medal at the 1946 Milan Triennale Award.
This particular piece is from 1956 and has got a striking oak pattern. The simplicity and elegance of its shape together with the beautiful wood makes the table a real furniture design masterpiece. The table has been recently completely refurbished to its former glory. Our experienced craftsman has carried the restoration to the highest standard, using French polishing technique and Shellac varnish to hand finish the entire piece.
