1930’s Art Deco Floor Lamp

An Art Deco floor lamp with two lower shelves. This lamp has elegant proportions, as well as a beautifully decorated walnut veneer. This piece was originally designed in the 1930s in the legendary UP factory in Brno (where Jindrich Halabala was artistic director at the time), and remained in production in various variations until the 1950s. The lamp is fully functional with new wiring installed and is in perfect condition. It is the perfect companion for all those who like to read with style! The entire lamp has recently been completely renovated to regain its former splendour. Our experienced craftsman carried out the restoration at the highest level, using a French polishing technique and a Shellac varnish to finish the entire piece by hand. The existing lampshade was irreparably damaged, but the new lampshade was made by craftsmen who use original techniques and materials and are able to make an exact replica of the original.
