I found this desk and chair at an antique store a while back. I don't believe it has any markings, although I have not search upside and around yet. Desk has metal pulls and wood drawers that seem to have some kind of a finish/laminate on the exterior but solid wood interior. The desk top is white laminate. The base of the table is gold metal/chrome (i'm not sure if this was originally gold or was painted on). It's quite heavy.
Additionally, when I purchased this desk I was sold this chair with it. Im not entirely sure if the chair originally went with this desk or down the line was matched to it (although the coloring of the wood and desk are quite similar). The chair itself is a really beautiful walnut with plycraft-esque scooped back . The base of the chair as well is gold and it swivels.
Not sure what direction to research but It reminds me of some Herman Miller designs.
Any ideas who the manufacturer/designer may be?
Thanks!
