Why foxxxy,
You are a car-person. me to. Looking at the image of the older Porsche (356B)?, how surprising to see a sunroof. It must have been a Euro only offering. But maybe I'm wrong.
Motor on,

affordable Americana classic... and the only non-German car that I can smell.
ps I doubt that this pic will work. I'm currently experiencing Imac/Photobucket issues? or maybe not.
who knows?

I have never been a watch person.
However, I have had love affairs with small cars throughout the years starting with the Sunbeam Alpine of the 1960s. A few years later, while a freshman in college, I happened to run across a 1955 Citroen CV2 in greyish green parked on the street which started a fascination with the CV2s for many years. Currently, I own a 2004 Mini, but if a mint Alpine were to cross my path....

??
What model car did the dude in the American television series call "Get Smart" drive? Wasn't that a sweet little Sunbeam Tiger? The TV show was tired, except for agent #99.

Nice stuff,
folks.
Is that Barris custom owned by a DA reader ? Wow . . .
Right car, Mark. And I envy you your 280 -- I always wanted one, and with manual. What color is it ? By far the most desirable of all MB sport models, I think. All wheels and glass !

Argghh...
Can't show either right now. Better wait to chime in. But do I have a good one coming...for both... All I can say right now is my vehicle holds a Guinness land speed world record... And it's saweeet...hmmm. I will say the Mobil Pegasus Porsche is pretty stylish. I'd probably have a number in the circle. Like 17 or something. Or "Eat at Joe's"...lol. Maybe a set of 24's, with spinners... Just kiddin.

Why thank you SDR.
Mine is sort of a creamy white (can't currently remember the color name,) with a slightly patine'd bright red leather seats. I have no business accumulating another car collection, but it's a distraction. I'm feeling broke. One is enough. But....my birthday is coming up...it's not easy. Drinks are on me. God.

ps the old Benz gets me much more attention than the Porsche....

my pick
The Audemars Piguet Calendar 2100 is a favorite. Not too many were produced or sold and I was fortunate to get one years ago. I look at it at least once a day on the book shelf.

I thought he
said watches dude..? I don't think yours can count. If we let one clock come in we gotta let em all in. Right now everything's ok. But soon it'll be wall clocks, floor clocks, grandfather clocks, bank clocks, train station clocks, exceeded bandwidth allocation, more servers, double electricity... Next thing you know the whole system just starts breaking down from there, until the forum loses all power, causing a cataclysmic explosion of multiple power surges that begin to... I feel like Mark right now. Kinda silly. Sorry. I like to laugh a lot..:) I'm sure it's cool...for now.
