Eames stickers explained  

I have shells with embossed v and the herman miller logo on the shockmounts unable to date.thanks

A Vitra shell with only an embossed V is not easy to date. A lot of shells from 1958 to 1972 have this V. It might be a very early one from the early 60's but if a "Herman Miller Collection" sticker (or Fehlbaum Production sticker) was on there but lost, it could also be a late-60's to early-70's shell.
