I picked up a lounge chiar and Ottoman last weekend, which had a broken swivel/tilt. I believe it was made by a company CFW (I believe a relative of Plycraft).

Issue is, in the way the swivel broke, it pushed through a few layers of the plywood on the back T-nuts. I'd love to find a replacement lower shell, or an inexpensive donor chair, but have yet to find anyone that has parts, or has a decent photo, with prices of their chairs for sale.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas, I spoke to a furniture repair guy and he wanted like 150 (too much to pay to repair a knock off?) to glue on another piece of wood to support the "cracked" area, which wont realy work as the seat has a piece of wood on it too. I was thinking I could fill the cracks with epoxy and add a new vaneer layer, but not sure if that would hold...

Any help would be great.

i'd sell your chair for...
i'd sell your chair for parts and buy one ready to go. you could likely get $100 for yours, maybe more if it's clean and add $75+ if you've got an ottoman.
