In the spirit of minimoma's "Rejected Modern" thread, and inspired by drubenw's Wright auction to Craigslist flip Eames DKR thread, I would like to start a thread of sellers who are absolutely delusions about the asking prices of their mid century flips. Remember that Craigslists posts aren't forever, but screenshots always last.
This morning I ran across this ad for an Eames 3 seat tandem bench, each armshell drilled through. All for the bargain price of $3000 each! Save $500 per bench if you buy two!
(As an aside, I hope this doesn't go against forum rules of posting things for sale, as the prices are so ridiculous that any educated person would never buy at such inflated values.)
That is the ugliest outfit I have ever seen. You look ridiculous. You actually look worse than people of Walmart. That jacket is a travesty that looks like it was fished out a the garbage dumb behind Salvation Army, since not even homeless people would wear something so garish and loud and tacky.
