Did anyone ever REALLY find out if those early tall-ish cylindrical Nelson type lamps with the same spun plastic on them that is on the bubble lamps-- was actually George Nelson or not?

I only found one reference on Wright auctions that pictured one, and it was only "attributed to" George Nelson, and left it at that...

It seems that everybody on the planet knows the ones that I am talking about, and Ive seen em around now and then for years... but nobody has ever really come up with definitive answer.

I would appreciate any information on these. I found a couple, and I like em!

Thanks in advance for your help.

sorry about that link. Here is the auction info...
Oh man, that link sucks... anyway here is the specific info as it appears on the Wright Auction website archive, and I will try to download a photo soon.. thanks for your patience...
It was listed exactly as follows:
Wright Modern Auctions
Mass Modern - June 2009
Lot 469
George Nelson and Associates, Attribution
table lamp
USA c. 1955
sprayed fiberglass over metal frame
11w x 11d x 20h inches
Estimate $500 - 700
Result: $250.
So I am actually more curious about what might the implications be if it turns out that Nelson did NOT create this lamp... What if someone else actually invented or used the sprayed fiberglass process first? I do believe the world would come to an end.

(It only sucks
because it wasn't posted in the "associated web LINK (optional)" box . . . !)
(So many readers have this difficulty that one is tempted to ascribe it to faulty web graphics . . .ahem.)

I can not
find my copy of a Howard Miller bubbles catalog at the moment, but they are in there. Other than the net lights, probably the least common of the "bubbles". If I find the catalog, I will post.

OH man, I thought I would die...
OH man, I thought I would die before I ever found out ! (I'm serious, I'm 58 and you never know...) Many thanks.
Now I will have to ask someone how to repair small rips in Nelson lamps, as both lamps have little minor tears.... but Im guessing that info will be a lot easier to find than that catalog...
I will stay tuned and thanks again.
