Hi; I was hoping someone could confirm that these nesting tables are by Fristho.

There are a few for sale/sold but no makers mark shown.

@wesemael maybe you might know?

Any info gratefully received.

@wesemael. Thanks. I had a feeling it was just one of those misattributions.

@lexi  FWIW, there's a Dutch dealer on 1stDibs (Morentz) selling a pair that appear to be the same design and they list them as by Artifort.  I did a quick search and was unable to find any others like them attributed to Artifort.

@lexi @wesemael  I also saw a few attributed to Sven Ivar Dysthe for Dokka of Norway.  The design is very similar to this Dokka collection, with the tubular steel legs and wood stretchers,  but with obvious differences.

@mark737. Yes, very similar to the SI Dysthe furniture.

The tables in question were posted on a Norwegian Forum and believe me if they were by him, someone would have said so by now.

The poster of the tables has added that he picked them up in the Netherlands.

They looked familiar to me so I asked my daughter, who lives in the UK and dabbled in buying and selling mid century furniture for a few years. She did have a set of these tables once and she reminded me that I had helped her package them when she sold them about 8 years ago!!

She searched at the time and could find no info on them. They were well built and quite heavy  according to her.

Another Dutch design with tubular chrome legs and rosewood.  Table by Topform and possibly designed by  Louis van Teeffelen (according to louisvanteeffelen.nl) in the mid 60's.   And I saw at least one site attribute it to Dysthe.
