I realize it's not exactly the same form, it's more open - but definitely same idea. There are some Kaj Francks out there w/o signatures.

Various other designers did leaves, canoes and boats, etc. but this is the closest I've come so far... Thanks!

It's about 8.5" x 2" weighs +/- 1.4 lb

What makes you say Kaj Franck? The Venetians did a lot of thick pieces like this during the same period. I think Per Lutkin was also doing things like this at Holmegaard. It does have a nice form though, and the intention of a designed piece.

I have always only seen marked examples of these. Nuutajarvi Notsjo seem to be consistent with these even wth the smallest examples. All of the examples I have & will acquire in the future has to have the markings.
