Hi,
Thanks so much for your info.
I forgot to say that this model has bi-fold doors, not tambour doors which is what I found for the Laarson / Faarup model.
LATE LATE last night I found a listing claiming it was Forstrup Mobelfabrik.... and it had bi-fold doors.... but I can't find anything about them - have you heard of them?
So to conclude, do we think that this is a model variation of the tambour door model by Svend Aage Larsen designed for Faarup?
Again thank you for your help.

It's not Forstrup, it's Farstrup. I don't know much about this compandy but they are still around and their main business have always been chairs, whereas Faarup was specialised in cabinets and sideboards. This makes me think that someone just mixed up the names. In the furniture index you can find a Svend Aage Larson design for Farstrup with a reference in Mobilia magazine. This sideboard has the same feet and the same outline as the one you are looking for. I assume that your model is one of several variations they produced. As a customer you could probably choose between tambour doors and bi-fold doors.
