Name These Teak Chairs with the Hideous Upholstery

i believe they are called marlboro chairs.

i have seen references to them being originally swedish in origin but i have not been able to find a reliable source for the designer or for a manufacturer. 

given that there are a million different versions and they all appear to be modern in design i'm not sure that these are really vintage chairs ... but then i have been wrong on many occassions !

These are also referred to as "hunting chairs" and and the most "famous" in Sweden was designed by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Vittsjö. Beautiful. 

They seem to be somebody else's rougher interpretation of the Vittsjo chair. Also not sure these are teak. Looks like stained something-else instead.

Personally, I kinda like the upholstery 😉
