This is an old Danish teak desk "hack" acquired as part of an auction lot.
Someone has painted out the drawer and base in a flat black and applied a very lovely veneer and solid edge to the top. Sorry for the crappy iPad pics.
I know it's a rosewood but would like confirmation on the type?
