I recently purchased a set of 5 mid century chairs. I was told by the seller that the wood is palissandre and that they are dutch. I have no other information other than when I took the seat off (screwed on only by two screws) one of the supporting braces had the number 15 stamped on it. Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you bj.
From what i googled, the chairs are similar but none of the Fristho models I found had the brass backrest supports. I did stumble upon a book link by Bert Looper "Fristho progressive furniture 1921-1978"; it's in dutch but I'll try and pick it up see If I can learn a bit more.
Thanks again!
I'm new to this; after years of admiring the designs through pictures, I finally purchased my first piece, a set of 6 Pastoe SA07 chairs, which I'm having repholstered. The chairs here Are my second purchase and regardless of what they end up being, i really like them.
