Jesgord does your chair still have its original under fabric that hides the strapping? Mine is missing and you can see a small portion of the original manufactures tag. It is an odd place to label a piece of furniture, but your original tag my still be intact. If so please take a pic and post it please.

Looked through 4 or 5 volumes of "Furniture Forum" from the 60's last night...no luck. Will take a peek through the "New Furniture" books tonight.

Looks like my chair is from the same production people as your sofa.
My chair has no labels of any kind.
I too spent lots of time on it's identification but had no luck finding an exact match. I think it may be by an American contract furniture company based on the examples i saw in Furniture Forum.
The person i bought it from said it was Paul Tuttle, but I think he was just guessing. Sorry i'm no help.
