| Help me ID this Dining Table | 2 Relevance | 14 years ago | CarlTB | Identification | |
| We recently bought a rosewood dining table with 2 leaves, one of which is in the table now. It is round without leaves. The table came with 4 Koefoeds 'Eva' chairs also in rosewood. I was told they were purchased as a group in 1964 in Toronto. Looked all over the table for markings and all I can find are some stamps to locate the legs in the proper holes during assembly and the stampings on the hardware underneath (in Danish) to place it to left or right. I'm just getting into this furniture stuff and have a few other items I'd like to have ID'd that I'll ... | |||||

| Danish Modern Dining Table-Please help ID | 2 Relevance | 14 years ago | Shane in Arkansas | General discussion | |
| ... rare here in Arkansas) and bought some of the best DM I've ever had the opportunity to own. All of it was signed and easily identifiable except the dining table. I was hoping someone here could help me with that. The entire dining room was done in Arne Vodder for France & Son pieces and were marked as such, except for the table. I've attached some photos for reference. The legs slide out telescopically and the leaves fold out as the table is expanded. The hinges are a bowtie design which I thought may be signature of a particular designer. It seats 1 ... | |||||

| Help ID Danish dining table . . . | 2 Relevance | 15 years ago | NULL NULL | Identification | |
| I recently purchased a dining suite from auction. The chairs are Hans Wegner CH23, the sideboard is G Plan but I am unsure who the maker of the table is. It is similar to ones I have seen by Borge Mogensen & Finn Juhl. The table is stamped underneath & also has a white handwritten label with "1972" on it. Any help appreciated 🙂 | |||||
| Early Herman Miller? Help I.D. this mid century gate leg dining table. | 2 Relevance | 15 years ago | MCM | General discussion | |
| I am trying to determine the maker of this gate leg dining table I picked up this weekend. The color and finish match my Herman Miller Primavera pieces but it is obviously not the famous George Nelson Gate Leg table. Perhaps an earlier version? Any help is GREATLY appreciated! http://www.flickr.com/photos/59949574@N08/6976174299/in/photostream | |||||
| Original 60's Saarinen Tulip Oval Dining Table | 2 Relevance | 15 years ago | RosieA | General discussion | |
| I've recently acquired an oval (78") original Saarinen oval dining table in white laminate. It's in pretty good shape considering it's from the 60's - there's some scuffing around the edge from the chairs knocking into it and the paint on the base is peeling but the original Knoll sticker is still in place. The top and base have no scratches or marks. Unfortunately it's too big for my space. I rarely see vintage Oval tulip tables - does this mean that they are rare and valuable or is it more the case that people want the round ones and not the oval? Any ... | |||||

| Danish dining chair mystery - ID help required | 2 Relevance | 15 years ago | TLA | Identification | |
| Hello, This might be an easy one for some, but has me stumped. Like a less elegant Moller or Mogens Kold chair (i.e. extra horizontal bars), these regular dining chairs and carvers are looking for a new home, and i'd love to know who made them, before inviting them into my dining room! I think the covers might be just tacked over the original. At least that's what I'm hoping. Any help gratefully received! | |||||
