Wind Simplicity wins National Energy Globe Award

Canadian Small Wind Turbine inspired by maple leaf wins National Energy Globe Award.
Wind Simplicity designed the high-efficiency, compact, noise-free Windancer™, a new-generation small wind turbine, using the maple leaf as inspiration for the wind blades.
Wind Simplicity’s Windancer was selected from 769 projects submitted from 111 nations to win an award. The Windancer was acknowledged by the Energy Globe Award’s independent renewable energy panel for excellence in environmental protection and energy efficiency.
“The unique 8-blade Windancer is likely to have the lowest start-up speed for a wind turbine at 1 meter-per-second,” said Sharolyn Vettese, Inventor and CEO of Wind Simplicity.
