Mid-Century Danish Alfa City Sconce by Johannes Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup

Alfa wall lamp from the 1960s, designed by Jo Hammerborg for the Danish Fog og Mørup.   The lampshade can be adjusted both up and down (to widen and narrow the lighting) and rotates almost 90 degrees to the side, allowing the light to be directed where it is needed.   Alpha is one of Jo Hammerborg’s first 24 designs to be advertised in the 1963 Fog of Mørup catalog.   The lamp is in very good condition, almost perfect for its years.   Dimensions: height: 16cm Base width: 5cm Arm length: 23cm thread: e14 max: 40w   Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
