Work & Style:
It’s obvious that the episode of his departure from Saigon counted in Cyril’s life. Here he painted a man who’s wearing a hat and who’s holding a child in his arms. In front of them there are guns. The man looks in the sky but the only thing that he can see there’s blood and the number 1975 are visible. There’s the influence of another street artist: Jean-Michel Basquiat. There’s a multitude of blue skulls and near them he wrote “Help all refugees”. This picture’s an hymn for all the refugees.
