Duo Tone Planter

Martino Gamper is an Italian designer who working across design and art venues, engages in a variety of projects from exhibition design, interior design, one-off commissions and the design of mass-produced products for the cutting edge of the international furniture industry.

In 2015, Martino Gamper curated the Duo Tone series that came out of the From-To exhibition for the Salone del Mobile exhibition in Milan. 

The Duo Tone series is a result of Gamper using local pottery traditions in a ceramics studio in Vicenza. Gamper was aided for this exhibition from international designers, who were invited to work in collaboration with artisans from the Veneto region.

The project was commissioned by Confartigianato and CNA Vicenza, the local Italian confederations for artisans. The Duo tone planter was created hand thrown, using a mix of local Vicentine Clays. 

The planter comes with an underplate and is available in three sizes, one of them being 300mm x H 360mm. The planter has been glazed inside and produced in Italy.
