Kamasada Studio
Kamasada Studio
This is the long-standing Japanese Nanbu Ironware studio that has a continuous history dating back to the Meiji Period (1868-1912). The studio’s name ‘Kamasada’ was formed using the first character from ‘Sadakichi’, the name of its founder.
While preserving the traditional production method of Nanbu ironware passed down from former generations, the black-colored sense of weight and the simple modern design is given a light finish. The master craftsmen of today create a broad variety of items, ranging from tableware to ornaments, for which they are know far and wide both at home and abroad.
