Janssen Eric
Eric Janssen has over 30 years experience in all aspects of design, from print and electronic media, to product design and exhibition design. The studio embraces a problem solving approach to graphic design and develops unique solutions based on thoughtful consideration of content. This methodology ensures long-lasting solutions free from the trappings of current fads. More simply stated: just enough “design intervention.”
As for product design, materials and production processes are often the source of inspiration, as are product archetypes and industrial design history combined with a subtle sense of humor.
Present and past clients include: Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC (private equity firm with offices in New York and London), Schwinn Hardware (USA branch of a German company—no relation to the bicycles), Intel Corporation, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), AREAWARE, Kikkerland, MERLO-T (Switzerland), American Express Company and the American Museum of Natural History. Mr. Janssen holds an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
