I had my Woodard Sculptura chairs and table powder coated red several years ago, and it has lived outside year round. I clean it with detergent every so often. The color is starting to fade a bit, and the finish looks a bit dull. Does anyone know of a product I can use to give it a little shine? I asked the group that did the job and they had nothing to recommend! I see a few products for powder coating polish on the web but they seem to be for automotive use, and I'm a little hesitant to try. I guess the only difference between a pc engine part and the furniture is that the Woodard set is mesh, of course. Does anyone know of a product? Thanks!
Even powder coating, which generally contains an epoxy-based binder, will suffer if left exposed to the elements. I'd probably try one of the new fad spray-on automotive "polish/protectants" like "303" wiped on with a rag. It will eventually wash/wear off and need to be reapplied, but should help restore some gloss albeit temporarily. Might be worth a try.
