Anyone have any ideas?  I've got a missing button from one of the Plycraft lounges (originally tan but ages to a green).  I can find anyone that makes them who doesn't charge $150.  If anyone has matching material that they took off  their charge when reupholstering it-- I'd love to buy it from you!

Someone is charging $150 to make upholstery buttons?!  (Or anything more than $5, for that matter?)

I used to reupholster these but I never kept the old material.  I don't think they used the exact same vinyl on all the chairs, either--you might be better off buying a bit of upholstery vinyl or asking upholstery shops for discarded vinyl swatches.  As for making the buttons--it takes all of 2 minutes to make one.  Before I bought a button press, I got buttons from one upholsterer for 50 cents each and another guy made eight buttons for me for free.
