Hi all,
I am considering bidding on this 1930 PH table lamp which originally had a push thru switch but has been removed. I would like to 'restore' it if possible but I have a few questions:
Firstly I need to establish if its even possible to replace the push-thru switch or is it an integral / integrated part of the switch housing? In this case it's a bakelite switch housing.
If possible to replace, does anyone have a source of replacements? I didn't find any by googling.
Worst case is I could just keep a switch on the cord or even change to a push button style switch (prefer not to).
If anyone owns a PH table lamp with a bakelite switch housing (push thru style) and would be able to send me some high res pictures of the bottom it would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
