Hi,
I've just picked this up, not sure if it's genuine, so if anyone has a definitive way to tell then I'd be grateful for any advice.
In addition to the wear on the leather, the left side of the chair is loose. it has seperated at the top where it joins the back of the chair and the whole side of the chair can be moved up and down about a centimeter. In the base of the chair is a bolt which has fallen out which is about 7cm long, I haven't removed the base covering to investigate yet as it's in good condition with no missing staples and I'd like to know what I'm getting into before diving in.
So does anyone know how these chairs were constructed? specifically I'm wantinmg to know how the sides were joined to the back of the chair.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers
B
I am fairly sure that's not a Mogensen chair. Looks like a Thams Kvalitet (presumably a Georg Thams company?) wing chair.
