Vinyl repair restoration.  

I've picked up a set of 60's black vinyl chairs. Natty. but with a smattering of cat claw marks. The little pin pricks, and in some cases a little worse.

I've noticed vinyl restoration being advertised, I've also noticed various vinyl repair kits for sale on the internet.

Before I consider complete re-upholstery and in the hope of keeping them original. Has any one ever had or restored vinyl with this problem ?

Are these kits any good ?

Are there upholsterers/restorers that can restore vinyl ?
