I have a sofa table by Ico Parisi for MIM Roma and the table top has some wear to it as the patine is a it weak and it has some stains caused by drinking glasses..
My Question: Can it be treated? and how?
Thanks

Mayonnaise.
To quote the National Conference of Mayonnaise Manufacturers (NCMM), "What can it hurt ?"

the secret
is to always put one's drink back in the same place then it ceases to be a problem.
Cheers! x

So -- of three long-time
Design Addicts, only one comes anywhere near a helpful suggestion -- if you can stomach the idea of putting a dallop of mayonnaise on your top (no Miracle Whip, please -- the gods of furniture finish don't like substitutes !).
Honestly, there are any number of helpful (?) suggestions available -- just Google your problem, and see if there's any consistent idea about water rings. It might be helpful to know what kind of finish your piece has -- but then, most "helpful hints" omit that as part of the recipe. Whadda-ya-gonna-do ?

Good point, SDR...Robert is always spot on with just the right advice.
He's pretty and practical, too.
Fondly,
